The WNW swell is here on the north shore of Maui. Unfortunately the NW buoy is down but here is a stacked plot of Pauwela, Waimea, and 51000 (North), and the angular spectrum at Pauwela. Probably big at Ho'okipa but not much at the Harbor.

This is the SSW wave energy at Samoa which peaked during the day Friday. Travel time from Samoa to Maui is about 3.5 days, so it will be late Monday when it arrives although some precursors will show up earlier.
Meanwhile, here, Barber's Point and Lanai are both dominated by the WNW swell...
But the SE buoy is showing some clean wave energy coming from the SSW, so there should be waves on the south and west sides of Maui today. Hard to know the size. At least waist high is my guess.

SouthEast buoy is showing some energy coming from the SSE.
Stacked plots of wave energy coming in from 160-200 degrees shows Lanai buoy to be rising above what it was this morning. One thing to be aware of: there is a strong W swell coming in which can artificially make the Lanai read high.
I think there is a reasonable chance for some waist-chest high waves on the west side of Maui on Sunday, 4/19.
